Students and teachers from Italy, France, Romania and the French island of Réunion were special guests of the University of Telecommunications and Post. During their visit, they got acquainted with the concepts of spatial visualization of data related to sustainable development. Their visit is organized under the Erasmus+ programme and the leader of the group on behalf of the University was Assist. Prof. Nikolay Nikolov.

The visit began with a tour of the University’s Aula, where students were introduced to the traditions and academic spirit of the institution. Then they visited the museum of the University, where exhibits of telecommunication equipment from the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 21st century are stored. After the inspiring meeting with the old, forgotten equipment, the students took part in a practical seminar during which they worked with Geographic Information System (GIS) software.
